The “Social Jetlag” & Chronotype Study

Modern society forces biological systems to operate on industrial schedules, creating a phenomenon known as ‘Social Jetlag’—the chronic misalignment between an individual’s internal circadian clock (Chronotype) and their external social obligations.

The Divinity® Research Team hypothesizes that this misalignment is not merely a result of sleep timing, but is exacerbated by Environmental Toxicity. We are investigating the link between exposure to endocrine-disrupting chemicals (found in single-use plastics and processed food packaging) and the body’s ability to regulate Melatonin and Cortisol. Does a ‘toxic load’ make it chemically harder for a human to wake up?”
