We focus on innovating our own technology to manufacture or to license out to established companies. We are a verified sustainability innovator and our work From a unique approach to work (combining both the arts and sciences) we have meticulously designed our own framework that allows us to invent some of the most innovative devices for planetary sustainability and human health.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Media

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

PART 2: PRIVACY POLICY & GDPR COMPLIANCE STATEMENT

We are committed to protecting your privacy in strict accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This policy outlines how we handle your data, particularly “Special Category Data” (Racial/Ethnic Origin).

1. The Data We Collect

We collect data in two distinct categories:

A. Anonymized Research Data (Survey Responses)

  • Demographics (Age, Gender, Citizenship).
  • Special Category Data: Racial or ethnic origin, religious background.
  • Travel history and experiences with security/border control.
  • Legal Basis: Explicit Consent (GDPR Article 9(2)(a)).

B. Optional Contact Data (Pseudonymized)

  • If you choose to participate in a follow-up interview, you may provide an Email Address or Phone Number.
  • We do not require your legal name. You may use a pseudonym or alias.
  • Legal Basis: Consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).

2. How We Protect Your Identity (Pseudonymization)

To ensure your safety and privacy:

  1. Separation: If you provide contact details, they are stored separately from your survey responses. Your survey answers remain statistically anonymous.
  2. No Tracking: We do not use “cookies” to track your identity or record your IP address alongside your responses.
  3. Strict Confidentiality: Your contact information is accessible only to the lead researcher(s).

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Survey Data: Used solely for statistical analysis to identify trends in airport screening processes. Results will be published in aggregate form (e.g., “30% of respondents reported…”). No individual will be identifiable in published results.
  • Contact Data: Used only to contact you for a potential follow-up interview. It will not be added to any marketing lists or shared with third parties.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do NOT share your data with:

  • Airport authorities
  • Border control agencies (e.g., Frontex)

  • Commercial third parties

Data is processed solely by the research team. If we use a third-party survey platform (e.g., Qualtrics, Google Forms), we ensure they are GDPR-compliant and act only as a data processor.
